We were proud to host our 9th Annual Research Days to recognize our trainees’ contributions to scientific advancements. Nine senior residents and one student presented the culmination of their research work on a variety of topics, including headaches in pregnancy, posterior circulation strokes, spinocerebellar ataxia, MOGAD in children, essential tremor, and more.

Alumnus William Renthal, M.D., Ph.D., returned as our visiting lecturer. Dr. Renthal completed his neurology residency here at UT Southwestern in 2015 and is currently an Assistant Professor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His research focuses on genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying migraine and chronic pain.
