Inderpal Sarkaria, M.D., Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery, shares his optimism for the future of Thoracic Surgery at UT Southwestern. For Thoracic Surgery, the mission is to utilize all the resources available at UT Southwestern and to bring them to bear on the patients that we see in the clinic on a daily basis. We are a core group of Thoracic surgeons outstanding in our field with focus specialties in the areas like lung cancer, esophageal cancer, robotics, and minimally invasive techniques all using a multidisciplinary approach to care.
