Dr. Joseph Schaffer is being honored at the SGS 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting. Dr. Schaffer has been a member of SGS since 1986. He has served on the SGS Research Committee both as a member and chair, as well as the Scientific Program Committee, and the SGS Board of Directors. He served as President of the Society in 2010-2011.
For many of members of SGS, Dr. Schaffer has been an important mentor, friend, and trusted colleague throughout our professional careers. We are happy to announce that he will be honored with the President's Award at the Annual Scientific Meeting this March in Tucson, AZ, for his key contributions to the Society and dedication to the mission of SGS.
