Ut South system has a strong emphasis in both basic and the aspect of the research as well as the neuroscience community. It's a team effort in psychiatry. I'm able to collaborate with great doctors and staff members to develop new and innovative approaches to care. Our team has been studying this treatment for the past two decades and have advanced its use in the treatment of depression and are working on its use now to treat other aspects of cognitive difficulties such as memory impairment and dementia.
