UT Southwestern is excited to announce the appointment of Vanessa Rogers, M.D. as the Vice Chair of Education and Faculty Development, effective February 01, 2023.
Dr. Rogers received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following her residency, she joined UT Southwestern as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow in 2003 and joined our faculty in 2006.
Dr. Rogers has been and will continue to be instrumental in UT Southwestern faculty development and educational programs, serving as a representative on the Graduate Medical Education committee, and leading the department’s promotion and tenure committee. She was recently selected by UT Southwestern for a training program in professional coaching and looks forward to utilizing that training in the department.
