The award acknowledges a new generation of orthopaedic advocacy leaders who foster innovation and optimization in shoulder and elbow care. Dr. Boes is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and the Director of Sports Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He specializes in injuries involving the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee; joint replacement; and cartilage restoration. Dr. Boes joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022, practicing at Parkland Health and Hospital System.
