UT Southwestern’s Lung Transplant Program is regarded as the highest-rated pulmonary and lung surgery program in Dallas-Fort Worth by U.S. News & World Report, with exceptional physician talent and innovative approaches to complex cases. More broadly, we have consistently ranked among the top 20 high-volume lung transplant programs in the nation for the past 15 years, and in 2025, our team completed 69 lung transplantations.
