The second annual pancreatic cancer symposium seeks to assist clinicians in meeting the ongoing challenges faced with keeping abreast of the latest treatment approaches for pancreatic cancer. From bench to bedside, our expert clinicians will discuss a broad range of topics including minimally invasive and robotic techniques, role of pancreatic prevention programs, therapeutics research, genetics, novel treatment agents, and utilization of ctDNA, among many other topics. Additionally, this symposium will feature a live transmission of a robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy. Our one day live in-person presentations will feature didactic lectures as well as a panel discussion.
This year’s Symposium will feature Tanios Bekaii-Saab, MD as our Keynote Speaker. Dr. Bekaii-Saab is the David F. and Margaret T. Grohne Professor of Novel Therapeutics for Cancer Research I at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He is the Chair for Hematology and Medical Oncology for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He is the leader of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Program for the Enterprise-wide Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.
